“To bring all stakeholders in the Ghanaian private health sector under one umbrella with the aim of influencing healthcare policy, practices and services in the country”
1. To promote and enhance medical care in Ghana, with emphasis on the provision of quality health care that is affordable and accessible.
2. To provide a forum for consultation and promotion of the interests of the health sector among medical professional associations, healthcare organisations, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, medical scheme providers, insurers, health maintenance organisations (the members) and Ghana Government and its representative and relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies to promote the interests of the health sector.
3. To support the development and adherence to standards of quality health care, encourage the practice of medical and business ethics, and promote a transparent, fair and competitive healthcare industry.
