1 Advocacy:
The provision of an enabling business environment forms the basis of the mandate. HFG continuously engages the Government of Ghana and other government agencies on issues relating to accessibility, health policy, taxes, regulations and pricing. HFG will establish relationships for participating in Public Private Partnership dialogues and enable member organisations to contribute and share views on key issues affecting their business and the private health sector in general.
2 Networking:
HFG will provide a forum for member organisations to network and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders from the private health sector. These networking opportunities enable members to develop linkages and partnerships with leading Ghanaian and international healthcare organisations, donor organisations, cooperations and associations. We aim to promote opportunities for collaboration and partnership formation for members of HFG to enable them expand both locally and internationally.
3 Regional Integration:
HFG is a member of the West African Healthcare Federation and we see this as an opportunity for member organisations to form close alliances with private sector institutions within the region. Members will have the opportunity to to participate, present and contribute to the healthcare agenda of these regional forums.
4 Public Private Partnerships:
HFG seeks opportunities to engage in and promote PPP initiatives and provide consultative and managemnet support for participating members.
5 Access to events, trade missions and expos throughout the year:
HFG will organise briefings and meetings, workshops/ and annual events and additionally partner with leading global event management companies in the health sector. HFG seeks to negotiate favourable rates for members as delegates, speakers and exhibitors.
