We believe there is strength in numbers
"The HFG started with 20 founding member organisations in 2017. We are now actively engaging with organisations across the healthcare ecosystem in Ghana to accelerate membership recruitment and form an influencial body that will drive change in healthcare provision in the country".
The enormous healthcare challenges facing the country cannot be addressed by a select group of organisations or the public sector system alone. Private sector engagement is fundamental and that is why we seek to recruit decision-makers and influencers from private sector service providers and suppliers, research institutions, entrepreneurs, medical associations, professional associations, local and international corporates and donor organisations as members.
The Healthcare Federation acts as a negotiating body in the interest of the health sector with the government and ministries to encourage the provision of quality health care services. It’s remit is also to protect, promote and represent the interests of the members of the federation and the health sector.
