Diana is an entrepreneurial and innovation leader with a passion for digital technology solutions that drive change. She has over 29 years global experience in ICT and telecommunications and is the founder of three start-ups:

 

(a) Mahiri Telehealth Services Limited, a remote diagnostics and homecare solutions service provider, which was launched in 2014 to deliver services for preventative care, diagnostic care and aftercare to healthcare institutions in developing markets;

(b) The Learning Nuggets Company Ltd, a digital learning service provider supporting organisations in developing the competencies and skills of their workforce; and

(c) Solution-e Consultancy Limited, supporting telecommunications and new media organisations in the UK in E-Commerce and eBusiness. 

 

Diana has worked internationally in both FTSE 100 companies and SMEs managing a wide range of teams, operational systems and internet and mobile-based infrastructure and service deployments since 1991.  She worked for global leaders such as Danfoss, Cable & Wireless Group and BT (Government, Health, Business and Retail), and managed projects such as, the development of the Central Registry for Electronic Bills of Lading for Europe (BOLERO) International Trade (EU), a £5 million plus project and development of the Connected Service Framework environment for BT Retail Internet Broadband Value-Added Services, a £25.5 million plus project.

 

Diana has a strong background and understanding of digital learning and models for future learning which has led to her contributions on global initiatives such as working with the Former UK Prime Minister, Hon. Gordon Brown, UN Special Envoy for Global Education on the Global Education Platform (GEP), from 2013 to 2015.  Diana was also instrumental in recruiting the former Vice President of Ghana, Hon. Alui Mahama as Patron for the US Doctors For Africa project deploying 200 mobile clinics across Africa.

In the academic arena, Diana has also written courses for corporates, undergraduates and master level programmes and was an approved eTutor & Marker on Henley Business School’s Distance Learning MBA Programme, Information Management from 2013-2014.

 

Outside her normal work activities, Diana was VP UK, International Executive Committee at the Almas Jiwani Foundation (Canada) (2015 to 2019).  She was also amongst the first batch of mentors selected in 2014 for African billionaire Tony Elumelu's Foundation programme to develop and support 1000 young entrepreneurs yearly.

 

Among her qualifications and business focused technical certifications, Diana studied Systems Analysis & Design at the University of the West of England, (UK).  She holds a Post Graduate Diploma In Management Studies (with Distinction) from Kingston Business School (UK) and an MBA, Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Consultancy and MPhil from Henley Business School (UK).  She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (FRSA), UK.
